Help Santee Prioritize Federal Grant Funds
Wednesday, January 7, 2015
The city needs public input to establish a 5-year plan for
using the federal funds, which are aimed
at helping low and moderate income households in Santee.
The plan is intended
to provide policy guidance on distributing funds from the federal Community Development
Block Grant and Home Investment Partnership programs.
Home Investment Partnership funds are used to acquire or
rehabilitate single- or multi-family dwellings, and for tenant assistance
programs.
The city wants to identify specific needs, priorities and
strategies to address affordable housing, homeless and special needs, as well
as community and neighborhood revitalization over the next five years
(2015-2019).
You can also participate by submitting written comments to
the City of Santee, Department of Development Services, 10601 Magnolia Avenue,
Santee, CA 92071.
